Hourly Hours may vary based on program needs A Kitchen Float is a versatile, flexible worker who travels between different kitchen stations or buildings to fill in where needed.

None SALARY: $17.20 - $18.13/hr

Required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years' work-related experience Preferred
• Bilingual
• Basic cashiering skills
• Knowledge of customer service principles

The Kitchen Helper is responsible for performing routine kitchen duties including food preparation, serving breakfast and/or lunch to students and staff, dishwashing, cashiering, and cleaning.

• Prepare food as directed by head cooks
• Set up serving lines
• Serve food to students and staff
• Keep service areas and food dispensers cleaned and stocked
• Count and record quantities of food sold on daily and weekly sheets
• Compile food and supply orders
• Receive money for cash sales in ala carte line
• Assist with cleaning the kitchen, cooking equipment, and serving areas, including operating commercial dishwashing equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Frequent: walking, standing, sitting, hearing, talking, seeing, and repetitive motions Light Work: lifting up to 40 pounds and/or exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible force constantly to move objects
