Nature of WorkThis is a part-time seasonal/temporary position that operates the ice resurfacing machine to maintain playable ice conditions. This individual will also perform routine cleaning and maintenance duties to ensure that facilities are clean, orderly, properly maintained and safe. Duties include cleaning floors and restrooms, minor maintenance, and cleaning up after and during events. Most work is performed under the direction of the facility manager.
This position must be able to interact with the public in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner.

- Operate the ice resurfacing (IR) machine to maintain a quality sheet of ice, depending on location and business needs.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and clean floors and restrooms.
- Wipe down or dust equipment, furniture, and windows.
- Remove trash for wastebaskets.
- Perform minor maintenance.
- Set up and take down before and after events.
- Enforce facility rules and all applicable local, state and federal standards..
- Shovel snow as needed.
High School diploma or the equivalent (GED)
At least 18 years of age
Desirable QualificationsExperience in custodial work
Experience operating machinery
