Full Time – Advantech Industries Inc., Rochester, NY, US

Salary Range: $17.00 – $27.00 per hour

Advantech Industries Inc. is a family‑owned manufacturing company based in Rochester, New York, specializing in CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and assembly services. Established in 2002, the company serves defense, medical, and aerospace industries from a 250,000‑square‑foot facility.

• Maintain a tracking system of all shop tools and equipment inventory.
• Investigate tool quality problems and recommend or implement improvements in tooling processes.
• Maintain working relationships with outside tooling vendors.
• Receive requisition requests, gather items requested, and keep records of items dispensed and returned to the tool crib.
• Maintain minimum quantities of commonly used tools and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Federal (OSHA), State, and Local safety laws.
• Ensure accurate inventory by reviewing summaries and details.
• Assist and train less experienced attendants.
• Ensure proper preventive maintenance and repairs of all tools and equipment.
• Secure diagnostic and/or repair work from outside repair facilities when required.

• Thorough knowledge of tooling for CNC machines.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and maintain a quality work ethic.
• Accountable for meeting project commitments.
• Maintains performance and motivation in routine, repetitive tasks.
• Able to understand and carry out oral and written directives.
• Works well under pressure, adheres to deadlines, and is flexible.
• Proficient with basic arithmetic and unit conversions.
• Computer skills to keep inventory records accurate.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

According to the New York Pay Transparency law, the pay range for this position is $17.00 – $27.00 per hour. Compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
