Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Injection Molding
Location: Rochester, NY
Employment: Direct Placement

Compensation: $20.66 - $38.33/hr (based on experience) + $3.00/hr shift differential
Schedule: 3rd Shift – Monday night through Saturday morning, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM. Must be available to train on 1st shift – M-F 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM for 4‑6 weeks.

What You’ll Do- Perform maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems and robots.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on assigned machinery and facility equipment.
- Perform repairs efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all safety rules and consistently wear proper PPE.
- Maintain regular attendance during scheduled work hours.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of experience troubleshooting electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical ability and skill set.
- Self‑motivated with own tools.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to recognize and recommend improvements to machine or cell layouts.
- Trade school, apprenticeship, or technical associate degree.
- Strong teamwork, collaboration, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Subject to a background check upon offer of employment.
- Work in a manufacturing environment that includes climbing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, kneeling, heavy lifting, and high noise levels.
