Full‑time, on‑site Maintenance Technician role located in Rochester, NY. The Maintenance Technician will perform routine and preventive maintenance on injection molding and related industrial equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. Responsibilities include diagnosing equipment issues, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems, completing repairs in a timely and safe manner, monitoring machine performance, documenting maintenance activities, and collaborating with production teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations.

The role also involves implementing continuous improvement initiatives, following safety and quality standards, and supporting facility upkeep as needed.

• Strong equipment maintenance skills, including routine inspections and hands‑on maintenance & repair of industrial machinery.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and basic electrical issues to quickly identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and industrial maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Knowledge of safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and best practices in a manufacturing or injection molding environment.
• Relevant technical training or certification in industrial maintenance, mechanical technology, or a related field; prior experience in plastics or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders, with strong attention to detail and organization.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team‑based, continuous improvement culture.
• Willingness to work on‑site, adapt to changing priorities, and support overtime or shift coverage as business needs require.
