Indnustrial Cleaner

Location: City of Rochester

Adecco is seeking multiple dependable Industrial Cleaners to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning production equipment, work areas, warehouses, and common spaces while following company safety procedures and sanitation standards. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, workstations, floors, and manufacturing areas.
• Remove debris, dust, scrap materials, and waste from production and warehouse areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and operate industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Clean restrooms, break rooms, offices, and other common areas.
• Safely handle and use industrial cleaning chemicals and supplies according to company procedures.
• Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility.
• Assist with cleaning production equipment during scheduled shutdowns and changeovers.
• Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or maintenance concerns to management.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in good working condition.
• Support production teams by maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Perform additional housekeeping and facility maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial cleaning, janitorial, manufacturing, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience operating floor scrubbers, buffers, or other industrial cleaning equipment is a plus.
• Ability to safely work around manufacturing equipment and chemicals.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Dependable with excellent attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the shift.
• Frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to push and pull cleaning equipment and waste containers.
• Comfortable working in manufacturing environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, dust, and industrial machinery.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and warehouse setting.
• Exposure to industrial equipment, cleaning chemicals, noise, and moving machinery.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required and provided as applicable.

Pay Details:

$17.00 per hour
