This position supports plant manufacturing equipment systems under the direction of the Plant Maintenance Manager.
** Work Schedule** : 6:00 AM 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
** Objective:*
* The Reliability Lead is responsible for proactively maintaining and improving the health of plant equipment through structured preventative maintenance planning, predictive analysis, and cross-team coordination. This role supports the organization's reliability strategy by managing PM schedules, conducting equipment health assessments, and coordinating rebuild activities. The Reliability Lead acts as the subject matter expert for thermography, vibration analysis, and equipment obsolescence initiatives, and ensures accurate, up-to-date reporting on equipment performance.
** Key Responsibilities/
Activities:

* Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Reliability Lead will be responsible for the following:
+ Develop, plan, and coordinate preventative maintenance and predictive maintenance schedules to ensure timely and effective completion of PMs and remediation and/or upgrade work across all equipment
+ Conduct post-PM follow-up inspections and document findings and corrective actions
+ Establish baselines and perform thermography inspections to identify electrical and mechanical anomalies before equipment failure
+ Establish baselines and conduct vibration analysis on equipment to detect wear, imbalance, and bearing conditions. Managing the equipment oil analysis will also be used to track equipment life.
+ Organize, track, and manage equipment rebuilds, including scheduling, status tracking, and coordination with responsible parties
+ Lead obsolescence work by identifying at-risk components and coordinating proactive replacements or upgrades
+ Update and maintain PM records, work orders, and Wiki related documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance as needed
+ Coordinate cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, and Inventory teams to support reliability initiatives
+ Generate and distribute equipment health reports, providing actionable insights to supervision and management
+ Minimal travel to support equipment build/integration and/or training may be required.

** High school diploma or equivalency required. Technical apprenticeship or Associate's degree in a related mechanical, electrical, or industrial field preferred; equivalent job experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Skills:

Experience with thermography equipment and interpretation of infrared inspection results

Experience with vibration analysis tools and condition monitoring software
+ Knowledge of PM planning practices and CMMS or work order management systems
+ Understanding of cGMP requirements and experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
+ Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
+ Strong data analysis, written communication, and report writing skills

* + Minimum 5 years of experience in an equipment maintenance or reliability role with direct experience in predictive maintenance techniques such as thermography or vibration analysis.
+ Medical device or other regulated industry documentation experience is beneficial.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage PM programs, analyze equipment performance data, and drive proactive maintenance strategies.
