Housekeeping Supervisor

Broad Functions

Performs various routine duties to assist Environmental Services Department to assure for the safety, cleanliness and well-being of the residents of Cirrus Manor.

• Perform duties as laid out in a planned schedule or daily checklists.
• Floor care to include, stripping, buffing, waxing.
• General repairs, including painting, carpentry, plumbing or electrical.
• Assist with maintaining driveways, parking lots, and walkways during the winter months and lawn/landscaping etc. during the summer. Ensure housekeeping staff clean any rubbish from facility grounds daily.
• Provide assistance to Human Resources and In-service housekeeping and laundry staff.
• Direct, train and evaluate new staff in environmental department.
• Attend monthly QA meetings, track audits, providing information at meetings.
• Maintain scheduling for housekeeping and laundry staff. Keep track of attendance.
• Ordering sufficient supplies for housekeeping and laundry departments as needed.
• Review SDS book monthly, maintain and revise as necessary for all departments.
• Ensure laundry services are completed by laundry staff daily.
• Ensure resident rooms and facility is cleaned to regulatory standards by housekeeping staff daily.
• Perform other comparable duties as assigned.
• Comply with State, OSHA, and Federal Safety and Health Regulations.

• High School Diploma
• 3-5 years practical experience
• Mental and Physical Health sufficient to perform job functions.

Hourly rate is negotiable based on experience.
