TSA, part of the Ryerson Family of Companies is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a Maintenance Mechanic you are responsible for a wide range of activities in the area of overall Plant and Facilities maintenance.



Roles And Responsibilities

• Always works in a safe and efficient manner
• Repairs and maintains plant equipment in an efficient manner on a daily basis
• Creates and utilizes preventive maintenance program and keeps files up-to-date
• Helps to eliminate machine downtime
• Coordinates outside maintenance services as required
• Orders parts as required to keep equipment operating in a safe/efficient basis
• Follows all Company ISO policies and procedures
• All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1-3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility, preferably steel processing
• Working knowledge of electricity, welding & burning, hydraulic repair
• Machine repair, crane repair, preventive maintenance programs
• Must be able to read blueprints and also order parts and supplies
• Physical ability to pass physical requirements exam for vision, hearing, and mobility

Salary: $30 -$35 per hour. A starting salary higher than $30 per hour is based on experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale.
