J065--Hemodialysis Equipment Maintenance

Overview

The VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Evoqua Water Technologies, LLC to provide preventive (scheduled) maintenance, emergency (unscheduled) repair, and recurring water testing on water filtration systems, including portable RO units, located at the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital, 5000 South 5th Avenue, Hines, IL 60141.

• Provide all labor, transportation, parts, and expertise required for preventive maintenance, emergency repair, and recurring water testing of the filtration systems.
• Ensure compliance with AAMI TIR
  43 2021/(R)2025 and any subsequent revisions.
• Maintain documentation package for Joint Commission purposes and submit results electronically to COR.
• Respond to on‑site emergencies within 24 hours and provide initial telephone response within 4 hours during VA business hours.
• Use factory‑certified service representatives trained on the specific equipment models.

Base year of one year with four one‑year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the Government.

• Field service representative trained by the OEM on the specific model.
• Staff trained in water sampling techniques and procedures.
• Laboratory holding relevant accreditations for sample testing.
• At least three recent medical center contacts that have contracted for similar equipment.
• Ability to provide an on‑site response within 24 hours of a reported problem.
• Subcontracting not more than 50% of the required service; written permission needed for any subcontracting.
