Maintenance Technician

Overview

Maintenance Technician I - Evenings — $17.00/hr with shift differential. Full-time Evening Shift, Wednesday–Sunday. Weekends required.

Location:

Wesley Willows, Rockford, IL.

• Perform routine maintenance including basic carpentry, painting, and plumbing
• Read and follow setup instructions for events across campus
• Install fixtures like grab bars, towel racks, and address small repairs
• Move furniture, patch drywall, spot clean or replace carpet tiles
• Conduct preventative maintenance on vehicles weekly
• Respond promptly to resident emergency alerts and service requests
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR (required)
• At least 1 year of general building maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to read simple instructions and follow diagrams
• Capable of performing tasks independently after receiving instructions
• Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in building trades
