The Specialist, Facilities is responsible for supporting the day‑to‑day upkeep, basic repairs, and preventive maintenance of facilities across all Gathering Inn locations. This position performs routine hands‑on facility support, responds to assigned work orders, assists with preventive maintenance activities, and helps maintain safe, clean, functional, and responsive facilities.

This role supports daily maintenance and facility tasks under the direction of the Manager, Facilities and may receive day‑to‑day task direction or technical guidance from the Coordinator, Facilities.

The Specialist, Facilities is expected to maintain active visibility throughout facilities, respond to assigned facility needs, demonstrate reliability and follow‑through, and support a professional and service‑oriented facilities environment.

This is a hands‑on, field‑based facilities position that is primarily performed within facilities and operational environments rather than from an office setting.

• Perform routine facility upkeep, basic repairs, inspections, cleaning support, and preventive maintenance activities across Gathering Inn facilities as assigned.
• Respond to assigned maintenance requests, work orders, and facility concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Observe facilities, equipment, and common areas and report maintenance, safety, cleanliness, or repair needs to the Manager, Facilities.
• Assist with facility setup, office moves, furniture movement, vendor access, landscaping, cleaning, and maintenance‑related projects as assigned.
• Maintain organized maintenance areas, tools, supplies, and equipment while demonstrating reliability, accountability, and follow‑through in completing assigned responsibilities.

• Utilize MaintainX to receive, update, and document assigned work orders, preventive maintenance activities, inspections, and maintenance tasks.
• Ensure assigned maintenance activities, inspections, work orders, and updates are documented accurately and consistently.
• Complete assigned daily maintenance activities and routine work orders, seeking guidance when repairs or issues fall outside the scope of the position.
• Communicate unresolved issues, supply needs, vendor access needs, and facility concerns to the Manager, Facilities.
