Experienced Support Equipment Technician located in JB Andrews, MD
. 100% onsite required at one of the listed location options.

• Assist the Lead Technician as needed in daily accomplishments and tasking
• Maintain a limited number of systems by removing, replacing, repairing or upgrading components
• Troubleshoot problems to isolate faulty components
• Conduct routine functional tests by operating equipment and using appropriate test equipment
• Perform a variety of visual inspections as required by equipment maintenance documents
• Document maintenance and inspection actions as required
• Create and maintain maintenance, calibration and inventory tracking systems
• Be willing to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) on short notice for the duration required; failure to deploy will be considered resignation
• Work under general supervision and with minimal direction

The position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). A clearance active in the past 24 months is considered active. This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

• 5+ years’ experience maintaining aircraft Ground Support Equipment
• Ability to work and support a 24/7 on‑call rotation environment
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally on short notice; as much as 10% of the time

• Experience using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• General automotive servicing experience with an electrical, hydraulic, and internal combustion engine background
