Pay

$79,547 - $90,777 / year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Actual salaries may vary and in some cases may be higher with extensive experience and strong performance.

Job Summary

McKee Foods is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to join our Fleet Maintenance team. The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor will effectively oversee and develop our shift teams, ensuring our Fleet remains safe, compliant, and ready for the road. In this role, you will balance hands‑on operational leadership with strategic oversight. You’ll lead a team of dedicated technicians, enforce regulatory and safety compliance, and coordinate critical facility and over‑the‑road repairs.

  • Drive performance and provide impactful leadership, training, and development opportunities for all shift technicians
  • Communicate and coordinate with maintenance operations across other McKee Foods facilities to keep our network aligned
  • Champion daily shop responsibilities and expertly tackle other operational duties as assigned to support fleet readiness
Required Qualifications
  • One or two years of post‑high school education (minimum equivalent of 32 semester hours) or a proven, outstanding track record of industry expertise
  • Three years of supervisory experience within a fleet maintenance organization, or comparable leadership background
  • Exceptional perception, judgment, and emotional intelligence when leading and collaborating with diverse team members
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively share information across teams
  • Highly effective at planning, organizing, and directing workflows to maximize shop efficiency
  • Proven ability to foster collaboration and lead effectively within a fast‑paced team environment
  • A proactive approach to identifying, addressing, and resolving operational and technical challenges
  • Strong capability to document critical maintenance data and process operational info accurately
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive department information with strict confidentiality
  • Adaptable and open to working alternative schedules to meet evolving operational demands
  • Valid ASE Master Medium/Heavy Duty Truck Technician Certification, or the ability to successfully obtain it within one year of hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • Five years of dedicated truck garage supervisory experience
  • Extensive knowledge of parts room management and inventory control processes
  • Five years’ experience working as a diesel technician, including at least 2 years specializing in electronic engine maintenance
  • Strong foundational computer knowledge and digital literacy
  • A current Class “A” CDL, or the ability to obtain one within your first year
  • Hands‑on proficiency with key industry platforms, including Maximo, Workday, and XRS / Solera
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Valid OSHA 10‑Hour Certification in General Industry Outreach Training
