Job Summary

Maintains clean and orderly school facilities. Performs heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls, windows, furniture, and removing rubbish.

Rogers Academy of Leadership and Innovation – 2922 South 1st Street, Rogers, AR 72758. Pay: $15.64 per hour.

Full‑time and part‑time positions. Monday through Friday. Hours may vary. Flexibility is available for most scheduling needs.

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and damp‐mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and places furniture back in the correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with assigned materials and equipment. Sanitizes all surfaces and follows the eight‑step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for students and staff.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning; takes initiative to complete the task.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refines floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Prior janitorial experience is preferred but not required.
