Job Summary

Part‑time Janitor (Rogers Public Schools)

Location:

2200 West Oak Street, Rogers, AR 72758 (Other locations within the district available)

Schedule:

Part‑time; days may vary, 3:00 pm–7:00 pm. Full‑time opportunities available.

Pay: $15.00–$15.25 per hour.

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and mop floors, wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other surfaces.
• Move equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and re‑position afterward.
• Sanitize all surfaces using the eight‑step cleaning procedure.
• Complete tasks assigned by supervisor and comply with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Perform heavy cleaning duties such as stripping, scrubbing, buffing floors and shampooing carpet.
• Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete the task.
• Contribute to the team and exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Prior janitorial and general cleaning experience required.
• Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Compliance with the facility's health and safety standards.
