Role summary:
The (USA) Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services-DOT, is responsible for maintaining safe, clean, and efficient exterior facility operations. The technician supports cost control through effective sourcing and budget management, leads third-party providers, and delivers quality service to meet facility and customer needs. Emphasizing integrity and collaboration, this position contributes to continuous improvement and operational excellence within Walmart’s facility services.

What you'll do:

• Operate and maintain heavy machinery and powered equipment following safety and certification standards.
• Perform seasonal exterior maintenance including snow and ice management to ensure safe facility conditions.
• Conduct quality assurance inspections and troubleshoot facility issues to meet operational standards.
• Manage vehicle maintenance, safety checks, and compliance with documentation requirements.
• Coordinate purchases, control costs, and submit warranty claims for parts and equipment.
• Lead third-party providers and support associate development through coaching and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company policies to maintain a safe and ethical work environment.

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience operating and maintaining heavy machinery and powered equipment in compliance with safety standards.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations relevant to exterior facility services.
• Ability to manage budgets, approve purchases, and conduct cost comparisons for parts and equipment.
• Skilled in troubleshooting, quality assurance inspections, and resolving customer concerns effectively.
• Demonstrated leadership in coaching, performance evaluations, and managing third-party service providers.
• Competence in seasonal exterior maintenance, including snow and ice management operations.
• Commitment to upholding company policies, ethics, and safety protocols consistently.
