Overview
Division Controller, ATS Automation, LLC, Rolling Meadows, IL. Responsible for preparing audit documentation, supporting government reporting, collaborating with senior financial leaders to mitigate business risks, safeguarding company assets, and implementing proactive controls, reporting, and audit processes. Ensure accurate record‑keeping and adherence to internal controls, while consistently applying financial reporting standards. Maintain compliance with IFRS, government regulations, and Sarbanes‑Oxley, analyze and communicate divisional operational and financial results, and develop best‑practice approaches for the company’s financial management.
Responsibilities- Prepare audit documentation and support government reporting.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop best practices and mitigate business risks.
- Implement and maintain controls, reporting, and audit systems.
- Ensure accurate and timely record keeping.
- Maintain compliance with IFRS, government regulations, and Sarbanes‑Oxley.
- Analyze and communicate divisional operational and financial results using standard corporate reporting tools.
- Review policies and procedures, and develop an ATS best‑practice approach for financial management.
- Improve financial systems, perform reporting, and negotiate contracts.
- Examine areas of business risk within the division and propose minimization policies.
- Focus on data and system protection and restoration in the event of a breach.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field (or foreign equivalent).
- Three (3) years of related work experience.
- Three (3) years of experience with preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and long‑term plans.
- Conducting risk assessments for departments or projects, analyzing potential business impacts of interruptions such as natural disasters, security breaches, legal claims, operational risks, and market disruptions.
- Developing and training financial staff to ensure consistent adherence to policies and procedures.
- Filing necessary government reports and returns and preparing year‑end audit files.
- Maintaining and improving existing ISO standards and systems.
- Applying knowledge in manufacturing, financial, and cost accounting environments.
- Utilizing ERP/PC‑based accounting systems and software tools.
- Advising the leadership team to drive profitability and growth.
- Managing P&L and balance sheet with revenue and/or cost targets of at least 70 million USD.
- Up to 20 % domestic and international travel required.
Salary: $ per year. 40 hrs/week, Mon‑Fri, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Standard company benefits.
