Facilities Specialist​/Porter

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Itasca, IL, for a Facilities Specialist/Porter. The role involves maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the property, handling light maintenance and repair tasks, managing inventory and supplies, and supporting office and facility operations. Additional duties include acting as a gatekeeper to monitor property access and assisting in the arrangement of personnel spaces or event setups within the facility.

The Facilities Specialist/Porter will provide a welcoming and safe environment for all employees and visitors.

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with staff and visitors
• Experience in maintaining a secure environment and acting as a Gatekeeper for property access
• Ability to incorporate Training and Education as needed to improve facility operations
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience in facilities management, maintenance, or a related field is a plus
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in facilities or maintenance work are preferred
