Merger Integration Lead

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
• More than 5 years of experience in program management, mergers and acquisitions, or similar roles.
• Willingness to travel overnight or during the day, up to 50% of the time.
• Proven history of managing complex integration projects with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of strategic thinking and tactical execution.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the capability to influence and engage stakeholders at various levels.
• Proficient in change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Ability to flourish in a fast-paced, dynamic setting and handle multiple priorities at once.
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, etc.).

• Lead and oversee the integration process for assigned projects, ensuring timely achievement of deliverables and milestones.
• Collaborate with project managers for each implementation to create and sustain detailed project plans, timelines, and progress reports to monitor advancements and identify potential risks.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, HR, IT, and legal, to ensure coherence and accountability.
• Assess and report on integration performance metrics to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
• Proactively pinpoint and tackle integration challenges, risks, and obstacles.
• Create innovative and practical solutions to complex issues, minimizing disruption to ongoing operations.
• Facilitate decision-making processes by offering data-driven insights and guidance.
• Develop and execute change management strategies to aid the integration process and ensure a smooth transition.
• Communicate the vision, objectives, and advantages of the integration to all contributors.
• Address cultural disparities and champion a unified organizational culture.
• Provide training, resources, and support to assist employees in adapting to new processes, systems, and structures.
