Special Education Teacher
- Long Term Substitute:
Approximate Dates - January 9, 2026 to April 9, 2026. Full time substitute position at Rolling Meadows High School.

• State of Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement.
• Experience teaching Algebra.
• Manage a case load of students and fulfill the students' electronic (EMBRACE) IEPs based on the legal compliance requirements of ISBE (accommodations, annual reviews, domain/reevaluations, progress meetings, transition goals etc...)
• Be knowledgeable about special education law and experienced with writing quality IEPs.
• Ongoing communication and collaboration with staff, students and parents.
• Attend case manager & Early Intervention Team meetings and keep up with the special education legal requirements.
• Work closely with the building special education coordinator to stay in compliance.
