Part-Time Youth Services Associate

The Rolling Meadows Library Youth Services Department is a place where imagination thrives, curiosity is encouraged, and every day brings new opportunities to make a difference. Bilingual skills are a big plus!

• Assist children and families with readers' advisory and reference services using print and digital resources.
• Help plan and present engaging programs and outreach services for children.
• Stay current on children's literature, youth trends, and emerging library technologies.
• Create booklists, displays, and promotional materials that highlight library collections and services.

Bachelor's degree in early childhood, elementary education, or other related field is preferred;
Relevant experience with children and/or libraries; or equivalent combination of education and experience

PART-TIME

HOURS:

25 HOURS PER WEEK
Some daytime, evening, and Saturday hours, plus a Sunday shift in rotation
(Sunday hours are paid at time and a half)

$17.37 - $21.72 (actual rate will be based on qualifications and internal equity)
