Northrop Grumman is seeking an entry level Systems Engineer (T1). This position will be located at our Space Systems Sector in Rolling Meadows, IL
. The qualified candidate will become part of our Eastern Region SEIT engineering organization.

BasicQualifications

The ability to obtain and maintain and active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access.
Familiarity with the System Engineering V-Model and prior experience executing the systems engineering workflow.
Excellent communication, organization and coordination skills (working with cross-functional teams).
Proficient with MATLAB, C/C++, or similar object-oriented programing languages
Lab integration and test experience
Working knowledge of one or more of the following specialty areas related to EOIR/RF systems: sensors/antennas, transmitters/receivers, and optics
Educational background or experience with digital signal processing and algorithm/data analysis
Fundamental understanding of orbital mechanics, pass-planning, Rendezvous and Proximity Operations (RPO) and mission planning
Familiarity with STK and MATLAB-STK integration
Familiarity with NG pro
Active TS/SCI with adjudicated polygraph is preferred
Primary Level Salary Range: $72,700.00 - $ The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate s experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
