Role OverviewAs an Integration & Test Systems Engineer, you will conduct integration testing and evaluate complex electronics systems from hardware and software design through aircraft installation. This role involves ensuring systems perform correctly and efficiently across the entire product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Generate test plans, test procedures, test automation, and test reports.
- Execute integration test activities, including system integration and design verification tests.
- Conduct tests in system integration laboratories or at offsite locations.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and firmware issues.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across various disciplines.
- Education:
A BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field with over two years of relevant experience, or an MS degree in a relevant technical field. - Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and firmware issues and working in a collaborative environment.
- Technical
Skills:
Integration and testing for complex electronic systems;
Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) knowledge; proficiency in MATLAB, C, C++, Java, or Python. - Must be able to obtain an active DOD Secret clearance before starting employment.
- Active DOD Secret Clearance.
- Experience in an integration and test environment for complex electronic systems evaluation.
- Experience performing Design Verification Tests, Environmental Qualification Testing, and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Qualification Testing.
- Working knowledge of DOORS and Verification Cross Reference Matrices (VCRMs).
- Knowledge of EOIR systems, sensors, optics, RFEW systems, DSP, antenna design, computational electromagnetics, or RF test equipment.
- Experience with MBSE concepts and tools (e.g., Cameo).
- Ability to write and execute test scripts.
- Ability to work independently with little oversight or direction.
- Willingness to travel.
