Systems Engineer
We are seeking an Integration & Test Systems Engineer to support the integration, testing, and evaluation of complex electronic systems. This role is responsible for ensuring hardware and software systems perform as intended through system integration, verification, qualification, and test activities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute test plans, procedures, reports, and automated test scripts.
- Perform system integration, design verification, qualification, and validation testing.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and firmware issues.
- Support testing activities in system integration labs and other test environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Analyze test results and document findings to support program objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field with 2+ years of experience, or a Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and firmware systems.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Active Secret security clearance required.
- Experience with integration and testing of complex electronic systems.
- Knowledge of design verification, environmental qualification, EMI/EMC testing, and systems engineering processes.
- Experience with DOORS, VCRMs, and/or Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools.
- Familiarity with EO/IR, RF systems, sensors, antennas, or related technologies.
- Programming or scripting experience in MATLAB, Python, C, C++, or Java.
- Experience developing and executing automated test scripts.
- Ability to work independently and travel as needed.
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
This is a Contract position based out of Rolling Meadows, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
