The Sr. Financial Analyst reports to the CFO and is responsible for financial oversight, performance analysis, and strategic support of RTC’s proprietary product business (the "Ready" business). The role combines traditional senior‑level responsibilities with forward‑looking financial planning and analysis to drive profitability, reduce risk, and support informed business decisions.
Ready Business Reporting and Profitability Enhancement- Combine a solid understanding of the business, effective working relationships with Ready sales and operations managers, and excellent business analysis to become a key driver of the decision‑making process.
- When a business opportunity is identified, drive the financial modeling process via integration of key global cross‑functional resources—including Estimating, Tooling, Product Development, Product Management, Sales, and Operations—to present accurate and insightful P&Ls used to develop pricing strategies.
- Identify opportunities to improve product and customer profitability and/or reduce investment and mitigate overall business risk.
- Work with Ready business managers to develop the annual Ready business budget and quarterly forecasts to accurately project the business, identify areas of risk, and propose solutions to continuously improve our projection capabilities.
- Interface monthly and ongoing with Corporate Accounting to ensure all monthly/quarterly/annual Business Unit financial information is properly stated and variances to plan or unusual entries are reconciled and detailed in a timely manner, enabling efficient management of the financial close process.
- Ensure financial management reporting, analysis, and processes are in place to support the ongoing and future needs of the Ready business.
- Participate in the annual audit, as required.
- Work with US Financial and Regional Finance Teams to develop RTC’s annual global budget and quarterly forecast updates, highlighting key issues and opportunities for Senior Management.
- Compile RTC’s monthly global results versus budget/forecast.
- Maintain annual and ongoing cash flow forecasts.
- Coordinate/undertake special projects assigned by the CFO, COO, CEO, and Corporate Controller.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5–8+ years of progressive experience in accounting and/or financial analysis.
- Requisite technical skills, including sophisticated financial modeling, advanced Excel skills, and experience with financial systems/ERP platforms.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
