How you'll make an impactWe are now hiring for a Captive Accounting Manager!
- Oversee a portfolio of captive clients including preparation or review of financial statements, management reports, monitoring cash flow and budgets.
- Compiles, consolidates, and analyses financial information for captive clients, as needed.
- Facilitate, prepare and present at captive Board of Director meetings.
- Work with various service providers such as auditors, actuaries, regulators in effectively managing the captive clients.
- Facilitate annual captive audit, providing required information and support to complete and file with captive regulators.
- Explain basic accounting and finance concepts to non-accountants.
- Provide support and communication with captive client and its business divisions on all captive matters.
- Provide excellent customer service to captive clients and captive service providers.
- Work well individually and in a team environment.
- May provide direction and oversight to other team members.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree and 3 or more years client coordination and/or claims management experience OR High School degree and 10 years client coordination and/or claims management experience.
- Able and willing to travel approximately 2-4 times a year.
- Advanced computer skills, including Excel, Word and Power Point
- Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
- Motivated individual who is deadline driven and committed to delivering an excellent level of client service
- Excellent verbal, written, organizational skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
Preferred:
- CPA, MBA or other financial professional certification preferred
- Knowledge of insurance captives or insurance accounting fundamentals
