Adaptive Steps is a clinician-owned ABA therapy practice led by Matt Soloway, MA, BCBA, IBA, LBA, and supported by experienced BCBAs and RBTs. We offer a compassionate and family-centered approach, tailoring our services to meet each child’s unique needs. These services include one-on-one ABA therapy, parent coaching, behavioral consultations, and social groups to support peer interaction. Our flexible, in-home and clinic-based sessions are designed to help children thrive in various environments, such as home, school, and the community.

This is a part-time, on-site Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) role, located in Rolling Meadows, IL. The RBT will provide one-on-one support to clients, implementing behavior analysis plans and interventions developed by BCBAs. Responsibilities include tracking progress, data collection, and assisting with the development of treatment plans. The RBT will work closely with clients and families to foster positive behavioral changes and skill-building in home and community settings.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Ability to conduct Behavioral Interventions and support behavior modification strategies
- Strong Communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with children, families, and team members
- Background or understanding of Psychology and related fields
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach when working with children and their families
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification
- Ability to work on-site in Rolling Meadows, IL with clients in various settings (home, school, community)
- Prior experience in ABA therapy or working with children with autism spectrum disorder is highly desirable
