Position: Rehabilitation Technician - Outpatient Rehab Services - Days

Rehab Technician – Outpatient Physical Rehab Services

Hourly Pay Range: $18.84 - $27.32 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

    Rolling Meadows, IL
  • Full Time, 40 hours/week
  • Hours:

    7:30am – 4:00pm (Monday - Friday)

What You Will Do:

  • Assists therapist with patient set-up prior to treatment and with equipment removal following treatment.
  • Provides support and assistance in various patient treatment activities
  • Communicates treatment effects and changes in patient condition to the therapist
  • Maintains department equipment, supplies and accessories.
  • Cleans all equipment, maintains logs and checks equipment condition. Performs inventory control of departmental supplies and equipment.
  • Performs various clerical tasks which may include: filing medical records and patient documentation, retrieving medical records for HIM/EHS/PFS and copying records for requesting departments.
  • Copies and faxes documentation to physicians and maintains log book. Prepares folders for therapy staff and envelopes for mailing and departmental correspondence.
  • Orders and maintains linen supplies, changes linens as needed and removes linen bags at end of day and/or as needed.
  • Coordinates therapists' daily caseloads and schedules as appropriate

What You Will Need:

  • Education:

    The level of knowledge normally obtained through the completion of four years of high school, or the equivalent.
  • Certification:
    American Heart Association BLS CPR certification
