What you’ll be doing- Partner with the sales team to understand customer needs and craft the best package of our services from data and voice, including security, IT, mobility, and professional managed services.
- Focus on the technical aspects of solutions for new business customers and deliver strong technical solutions with excellent customer service.
- Develop the solution and design the architecture to solve customer needs.
- Establish business cases and help customers choose Verizon solutions.
- Draft agreements with pricing, service commitments, and technical specifications.
- Create and manage technical program plans to deliver on promises.
- Grow new business and existing accounts.
- Complete motor vehicle report checks as required.
You’re inquisitive, resourceful, and relate well to all people. Your active listening and analytical mindset help customers get what they need. You communicate the value of complex solutions clearly and act with a customer-first mindset to drive success for both individuals and teams.
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Six or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work, military experience, or specialized training.
- Experience selling technical solutions.
- A valid driver’s license and eligibility to pass Motor Vehicle Record check.
- Willingness to travel.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- Technical design and engineering experience in communications or networks.
- Knowledge of wireless services and benefits of data, voice, cloud, managed IT, security, and mobility solutions; M2M exposure preferred.
- Experience negotiating and contracting complex technical solutions.
- Experience creating detailed project plans with technical specifications and milestones.
- Experience working on a sales team and meeting challenging sales targets.

Where you’ll be workingIn this mobile role, you’ll primarily work from customer or field locations, with occasional visits to a Verizon location for in-person training and meetings.

This is a commission-based position with potential to earn more. For part-time roles, compensation is adjusted for hours. The salary range for Illinois locations listed is $98,500.00 – $ per year for a full-time schedule.
