Overview
As a Broker Placement Specialist, you’ll work closely with insurers and producers to develop strategic plans for placing business, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. Your efforts will drive growth by marketing key placements, developing innovative products, and building strong relationships with insurers. You’ll also support producers in securing new business and collaborate with our claims team to advocate for clients during claims settlements.

Here’s what you’ll bring to the role:
- A minimum of 3 years of broking experience in the marketplace
- Existing, successful relationships with a number of insurers
- A license essential to provincial licensing jurisdictions, along with management of continuing education hours
- The ability to explain complex issues in simple terms and connect with clients and colleagues effectively
- A solution-oriented mindset with a knack for developing resourceful and innovative approaches
- Familiarity with insurance document management software (EPIC) is a plus
- Completion of post-secondary degrees or insurance designations is nice to have
Required:
Bachelor s degree and 4 years related experience required. Insurance licensing required.
Preferred:
Professional designation preferred, such as CPCU, CIC or ARM.
We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
