Building Automation HVAC Solutions Operations Supervisor

Rolling Meadows, IL branch location serving customers throughout the greater Chicago area.

• Supervise, train, and mentor System Specialist team; set goals, monitor performance, conduct employee review meetings, schedule formal training, guide and support the team on planning and managing construction projects through completion.
• Schedule and assign installation and commissioning tasks; ensure schedules are maintained and projects proceed according to plans, job specifications, and cost estimates.
• Maintain and improve planned and booked margins for technical support programs.
• Direct and supervise development and use of project plans for monitoring and controlling execution of work; review customer feedback and ensure customer retention and account growth goals such as adds, extras, upgrades, and escalations are achieved.
• Maintain relationships between sales, engineering, and execution teams so changes and discrepancies are managed to minimize cost and delay throughout estimating and execution phases; accountable for profit and loss of projects assigned to operations team and serve as local leader and customer representative.
• Support project profitability through cost-containment procedures and processes; travel between branch locations as needed.
• Maintain excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• High school diploma or state-recognized GED.
• On-the-job experience with HVAC System Automation/Building Automation Controls, including knowledge of design, startup, programming, integration, documentation, and commissioning.
• Experience training, mentoring, scheduling, and supervising employees responsible for System Automation/Building Automation startup.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel 10%.
• 21 years of age, valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle program.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years of experience training, mentoring, scheduling, and supervising employees responsible for System Automation/Building Automation startup.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering or project management.

The pay range for this position is $75,684 - $129,744 annually with a target incentive of 5% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
