Strategic LeadershipDevelop and execute the Benefits group captive strategy to drive growth and operational excellence. Identify and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities within Artex NA and Gallagher Benefit Services. Lead the development and growth of new benefits and ancillary products. Pursue merger and acquisition opportunities to expand the benefits portfolio.
Client EngagementServe as the executive lead on captive accounts, ensuring exceptional client service and retention. Provide strategic guidance to client service teams to meet client needs and exceed expectations. Enhance client relationships through stewardship efforts and value-driven solutions.
Operational ExcellenceOversee the Benefits P&L, ensuring financial performance and margin improvement. Manage relationships with stop-loss carriers, consultants, and vendor partners. Lead captive renewal strategies, including negotiation and retention efforts. Coordinate benefits population health risk management initiatives.
Team LeadershipBuild, mentor, and retain top talent within the Benefits team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to support professional growth.
About YouRequired:
Bachelor's degree Minimum of 7 years of Health & Benefits or related experience Significant Medical Stop Loss, Self-Funding, or Benefits Consulting industry experience and insurance designations are required Technical stop loss and captive sales experience Proven experience in benefits strategy, captive management, or related fields. Strong track record of driving revenue growth and operational improvements. Expertise in client relationship management and cross-functional collaboration.
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire high-performing teams. Knowledge of insurance regulations Understanding of plan design and terminology Thorough knowledge of MS Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint) Willingness to travel to meet the needs of the business, estimated 25%
Preferred:
Medical Stop Loss Captive experience desirable. Experience with mergers and acquisitions is a plus.
Compensation and benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
