The Boyd Group, a leading North American collision repair organization, is seeking a Production Manager for our Automotive Production & Operations team. In this performance-driven, safety-focused role, you will oversee daily shop throughput, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure vehicles are repaired efficiently, safely and to exacting quality standards. You will lead and coach technicians, enforce standardized processes, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.

Partnering closely with estimators and customer service staff, you’ll support an exceptional customer experience while maintaining a clean, compliant and modern work environment and developing your team’s professional growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily collision repair production, scheduling and workflow to meet throughput and quality targets
  • Lead, coach and develop technicians and support staff, fostering a safety-first, customer-focused culture
  • Monitor KPIs, cycle time and shop capacity, adjusting resources to meet performance goals
  • Ensure adherence to standardized repair processes, OEM procedures and company policies
  • Partner with estimators and customer service teams to align repair plans, promise dates and customer expectations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant shop environment and enforce safety protocols
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce rework
  • Support training, onboarding and ongoing skills development for production team members
  • Collaborate with management on staffing, budgeting and equipment needs for the facility
  • Resolve day-to-day production issues, escalating complex concerns as needed
  • Automotive collision repair production management

Qualifications
  • Lean / Six Sigma (Green Belt or similar preferred)
  • I-CAR production or management training (preferred)
  • OEM structural/collision repair training (a plus)
