Job Description

The Turret Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating turret machines to perform a variety of machining operations including drilling, tapping, and reaming. The role requires precision and attention to detail to ensure the quality and accuracy of finished parts.

• Set up and operate turret machines for various machining operations.
• Load raw materials and ensure proper alignment and clamping of work pieces.
• Monitor machine operations and make minor adjustments to maintain accuracy.
• Inspect finished parts for dimensions, quality, and defects using measuring tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform routine machine maintenance.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Complete production documentation and report any issues to supervisors.

• High school diploma or GED required.

• 1-2+ years of experience setting up and operating machines, or 0 years of experience with additional specialized training and/or certification.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or drawings.

• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rolling Meadows, IL.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 – $21.00/hr.
