Clinical Care (Urgent Care) Registered Nurse Position Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide hands-on, patient-facing clinical care in an outpatient healthcare setting. The RN will use clinical knowledge and critical-thinking skills to assess patients, administer medications and treatments, perform testing and procedures, document care, and support positive patient outcomes. Candidates should have experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings and be comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient clinical environment.

30 hours per week 3 weeks of required training/orientation Regular schedules are created in 6-week blocks Typically 2–3 weekdays plus every other weekend Shifts may range from approximately 7–10 hours, depending on operational needs Must be available to work some major holidays Candidates must be available for the full initial 3-week training period

• Assess patients and provide evidence-based clinical care
• Administer oral, injectable, intravenous, and topical medications
• Administer vaccines and perform phlebotomy
• Perform point-of-care testing
• Monitor and document vital signs
• Perform routine and advanced patient assessments
• Evaluate patient conditions and monitor treatment responses
• Conduct medication reviews and identify potential side effects or drug interactions
• Perform mental health screenings
• Obtain and accurately document patient medical histories using electronic medical records
• Educate patients on medications, self-care, and disease management
• Connect patients with appropriate healthcare and community resources
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records
• Keep the clinical area clean, organized, and properly stocked

• Active RN license in the state of employment
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• High school diploma/GED
• Minimum 1 year of related healthcare experience
• Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room
• Experience with:
  Phlebotomy Vaccine administration Point-of-care testing
• Experience using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Epic experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, communication, and patient-care skills
• Ability to work the required weekday, weekend, and holiday schedule

Important Experience Requirement Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to long-term care, nursing homes, home health, LTAC, or skilled nursing facilities are not the target profile for this position. The role requires experience that translates well to a fast-paced outpatient clinical environment.
