Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join their well-established small animal practice. The hospital primarily treats cats and dogs, with the occasional rabbit or other small animal, and has built a strong reputation over multiple decades for delivering high-quality medicine, diagnostics, and surgical care.
Working Hours / RotaThe hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, with Wednesday hours of 8:00am to 1:00pm and 2:00pm to 5:00pm. Saturday hours are 8:00am to 1:00pm, and the hospital is closed on Sundays. Doctor hours are by appointment only.
Role Description and ResponsibilitiesThe Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for examining and treating companion animals, diagnosing illness and injury, and providing both medical and surgical care. Daily responsibilities include operating diagnostic equipment, collecting and interpreting diagnostic samples, prescribing medications, advising clients on preventative care and treatment options, and providing compassionate guidance for end-of-life care. The role also includes maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant policies.

The hospital is equipped with modern diagnostic and treatment tools including digital radiology, ultrasound, and an in-house laboratory. Services include preventative care, vaccinations, puppy and kitten care, senior care, spay and neuter, flea and tick control, heartworm prevention and treatment, dental prophylaxis, diagnostic testing, anesthesia and pain management, mass removal procedures, microchipping, and OFA radiographs. The practice is well established within the community and is recognized for its strong client relationships and consistently high ratings.

Candidate Requirements- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
