Cleaner and Utility Clerk

Overview

Meijer is a family company serving people and communities. As a team member you will experience a variety of retail tasks and customer service in a supportive environment.

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments:
  Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
• May perform other duties as assigned or required.

• Highly organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product or using equipment.
• Ability to shine in a fast‑paced environment.

We offer a step pay plan that generally starts between $15.00 and $15.00 with raises after predetermined hours. The rate offered will meet or surpass the legal wage requirement for the location.
