Sales Development Rep/SDR
RPS offers a 24‑month training and development program that prepares candidates for a career in insurance sales. The role involves working closely with retail agents, creating business opportunities, and handling outbound calls and marketing initiatives.
How You’ll Make an ImpactIn this role you will connect with retail agents to create new business opportunities, make outbound calls, educate customers on quoting platforms, and turn leads into results. You will support marketing efforts such as email campaigns, social media content, webinars, and customer events.
- Make 50+ outbound calls daily to drive submissions and bind orders.
- Report weekly on sales calls and results.
- Share ideas for social media posts and email campaigns.
- Host monthly webinars and coordinate customer events.
- Review trends in quoting activity and address them with the team.
- Collaborate with a Regional Sales Manager to refine strategies.
- Pursue continuing education and insurance licenses to grow expertise.
This is an in‑office role with some travel required for training, networking, and client meetings.
About YouRequired:
- Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of related experience.
- Strong working knowledge of potential clients and the insurance brokerage business.
Preferred:
- Professional designation such as CEBS, CPCU, CIC, or ARM.
- Solid analytical skills to make decisions and resolve issues related to claims.
- Ability to plan and organize activities and workload and respond to multiple demands.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
