EM Benefits has an exciting career opportunity for an Existing Business Coordinator. The Existing Business Coordinator will assist in maintaining broker relations by servicing existing business accounts in a team environment. This individual will also process eligibility changes, assist with billing inquiries, assist with claim inquiries, etc., and provide customer service to clients, brokers, and marketing representatives.
How You'll Make An Impact- Process and follow‑up on existing business inquiries.
- Pursue and develop good working relationships with carrier and broker/client.
- Maintain workflow to meet the goals established by management.
- Maintain and service existing clients (brokers, groups, and members) by providing guidance on issues that arise (e.g., eligibility issues, invoice inquiries, procedures, benefits, etc.).
- Verify and process applications in accordance with established procedures to ensure accurate billings.
- Obtain necessary information for enrollment to maintain accurate membership records and provide confirmations in writing to clients on new additions and changed memberships.
- Communicate any unusual situations to the marketing representative that developed with broker or client.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Representative and Team Lead to assist brokers and clients.
- Enter new groups in EM Connect Database.
- Enter production data in Salesforce.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience preferred.
- High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
- General data entry skills required.
- Life & Health License preferred (or ability to obtain).
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office or similar software, including spreadsheet and presentation software.
- Insurance background preferred.
- Excellent phone personality and ability to deal with people.
- Ability to compose clear and concise letters is required.
We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
