Telecom Construction Auditor (Coax & Fiber)
Location:
Rolling Meadows, IL (90% Field).
Duration: 6 - 12+ Months.
Work Structure: 80-90% Field Audits / 10-20% Admin & Computer Work.
Travel: 1-2 overnight trips per month (3-4 days per trip, hotels covered); up to 1.5 hours away daily when local.
Vehicle: Must have a reliable personal vehicle for field travel.
The Role: Join the Project Genesis team to conduct field quality audits for amplifier work and new EPON rural broadband buildouts.
Responsibilities: Conduct field quality audits of amplifier work; audit network infrastructure; log data accurately; collaborate with project team; ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications: Hands‑on construction experience in both coax and fiber; proven ability to audit network infrastructure and log data accurately; strong willingness to travel regionally as required; good written communication; strong attention to detail.
Desired
Skills:
Experience with EPON deployments and rural broadband; familiarity with telecom audit tools.
