Internship With WINGS

Direct work with adults, children, and families experiencing domestic violence or homelessness
Trauma-informed practice and safety-planning skills
Weekly supervision (1–2 hours individual; 1.5 hours group in some settings)
Assessments and intakes
Case management support
Individual and group counseling
Collaboration with multidisciplinary team members
Participation in department and team meetings
Internship Requirements (Completed/submitted after internship offer)
40-Hour Domestic Violence Training (provided by WINGS; counts toward hours for 340+ hour students)
School liability insurance
Criminal background check
DCFS background check
Two letters of recommendation
Unofficial transcripts
12–25 hours/week including 1–2 evenings, possible weekend availability
Undergraduate or graduate students in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field
Locations:
Chicago and the Northwest Suburbs (placement determined by skill level and program needs)
