* Job Summary:

** The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse floor. This role ensures the efficient, safe, and accurate movement of goods and supporting warehouse staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
** Duties/Responsibilities:
*** Supervise the shipping team, providing guidance and direction to ensure the smooth flow of operations for Perfect Turf.
* Work closely with the Office Manager to ensure important order information is relayed to the appropriate team/order packet.
* Coordinate daily tasks, including order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving processes. Ensuring every order is shipped accurately and on time.
* Ensure all activities adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
* Perform quality checks to ensure accurate order picking, packing, and shipping.
* Train and mentor new and existing employees on warehouse procedures, equipment use, and safety practices.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues on the floor, such as equipment malfunctions or workflow bottlenecks.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring the warehouse meets cleanliness and safety standards.
* Communicate effectively with the Office Manager to report progress, challenges, and areas of improvement.
** Responsible for additional duties and accountabilities that will be assigned as needed.**## Qualifications
** Required Skills/Abilities:
*** Proven experience in warehouse operations
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure.
* Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and equipment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.

* Education and Experience:

*** High school diploma or equivalent
*
* Physical Requirements:

*** Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
* Ability to lift to 50 pounds regularly.
