Housekeeping Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the housekeeping operations at our long term care facility in Rome, GA. The ideal candidate will ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors by managing housekeeping staff and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities within the long term care facility.
• Train, schedule, and evaluate housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective performance.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards specific to long term care environments.
• Inspect facility areas regularly to ensure cleanliness and address any issues promptly.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper use and maintenance.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall facility operations and resident satisfaction.
• Handle resident and staff concerns related to housekeeping services professionally and promptly.
• Prepare reports on housekeeping activities and staff performance as required.

• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor, preferably in a long term care or healthcare facility.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and scheduling purposes.

This position is based in a long term care facility located in Rome, GA. The role requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting. The Housekeeping Supervisor will work closely with staff and residents to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
