To perform loading/unloading of RJW trucks and outside carriers, ensure all shipments are properly stored and pick orders from warehouse inventory as directed by customers.

• Loading/unloading trucks and trailers safely and efficiently using proper procedures, including outside carrier equipment.
• Picking and moving items from 1 lb to 50 lbs or more multiple times.
• Completing all documentation properly.
• Coordinating with dispatch and sales to resolve discrepancies.
• Properly storing inbound loads in the correct warehouse location.
• Marking shipments correctly before storing or picking.
• Maintaining warehouse area with orderly stacking and good housekeeping.
• Spotting trailers to maintain efficient yard organization and flow of equipment into the warehouse.
• Coordinating paperwork with drivers after dispatch operations for the day.
• General maintenance of the area surrounding the warehouse.
• Ensuring trailers are swept clean of debris when empty.
• Ensuring shipments are correctly staged and loaded properly.
• Processing outbound freight and cross‑dock freight as necessary.
• Operating Stand‑Up Reach Forklifts, Cherry Pickers, and some sit‑down forklift work.
• Following all safety procedures at all times.
• Building pallets and breaking down stock.
• Working in a fast‑paced warehouse.
• Other tasks as assigned by manager.

• Operating a Forklift, Cherry Picker, and Stand‑Up Reach Forklift.
• Good communication, problem resolution, and people skills.
• Maintaining orderly operation of the warehouse.

• 1 year forklift driving experience.
• Certified forklift license.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

• Ability to communicate, read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to determine root cause of problems and determine corrective action.

• Knowledge of business operating systems, internet software, word processing, and spreadsheet software.

• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Use phone systems, keyboards, and buttons.
• Speak and communicate clearly over telephones.
• Work in an indoor/office environment with repetitive hand motion.
• Talk, hear, stand, and walk frequently.
• Work in excess of continuous 8 hours when required.
• Operate under stressful situations, maintain work accuracy, and concentrate on multiple tasks at a time.
• Have 20/20 corrected vision for reading and discerning visual images.
• Be in sound physical health as determined by a physician with no evidence of controlled substance use.
