Warehouse Cleaner / General Cleaner

Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM

Pay: $16.50–$17.50 per hour (depending on experience)

GSF USA is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented cleaner to support a large warehouse and office facility in Romeoville. This position is approximately 80% warehouse cleaning and 20% office/common area cleaning. Candidates should be comfortable working in an active warehouse environment and take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional facility.

• Collect and remove trash and recycling throughout the warehouse
• Dust mop warehouse floors and maintain clear, clean walkways
• Wet mop hard surface floors, including under warehouse desks, workstations, and tables
• Sweep and scrub warehouse floors using manual and powered equipment
• Clean and disinfect breakrooms and warehouse common areas
• Dust and wipe down warehouse surfaces, racks, ledges, and fixtures within reach
• Clean dock areas, entrances, and employee walkways
• Spot clean walls, doors, and glass as needed
• Monitor and replenish supplies in warehouse restrooms and break areas
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to management
• Follow all facility safety procedures and PPE requirements

The facility currently has a dedicated office cleaner. This portion of the role is intended to provide support when additional coverage is needed, during vacations or absences, or when increased traffic requires extra attention in the office and common areas. While some office cleaning may be performed regularly, the primary focus of this position will remain on warehouse cleaning.

• Vacuum carpeted areas and mop hard surface floors
• Dust desks, furniture, windowsills, and other office surfaces
• Empty trash and recycling containers
• Clean and disinfect restrooms
• Clean conference rooms, offices, and common areas
• Clean glass entry doors and interior glass partitions
• Replenish restroom and kitchen supplies

• Previous janitorial, warehouse cleaning, or custodial experience preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Adaptable and willing to take on changing responsibilities as the needs of the facility evolve
• Ability to thrive in a team environment that is continuously growing and evolving
• Willingness to learn new tasks and take on additional responsibilities as opportunities arise
• Strong attention to detail and work quality
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds throughout the shift
