We are immediately hiring a Maintenance Supervisor in Romeoville, IL for our Supply Chain Solutions division.
SummaryThe Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for corporate oversight at the assigned facility regarding maintenance and upkeep of the building, equipment, and grounds. This includes oversight of all mechanical, electrical, janitorial, and material handling equipment and related maintenance.
Essential Functions- Apply corporate oversight of all maintenance programs at dry facilities, including building envelope, grounds, parking lots, and material handling equipment within the facility.
- Identify cost containment or savings opportunities and coordinate with the facility manager in application efforts.
- Assist in developing and applying material handling equipment maintenance programs at the assigned facility.
- Oversee janitorial duties and food safety, and ensure regulatory compliance training with OSHA, EPA, and other governing authorities.
- Report on productivity, efficiency, and preventive maintenance performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work, strong follow‑up, analytical, problem‑solving, and sound decision‑making skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate in both verbal and written forms with customers, employees, peers, and management.
- Ability to work self‑directed with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Ability to manage individual performance and employee relations.
- Flexibility to operate and self‑driven to excel in a fast‑paced environment.
- Capable of multitasking, highly organized, with excellent time‑management skills.
- Detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows.
- Electrical – intermediate preferred.
- Hydraulics – intermediate preferred.
- Building trades – intermediate preferred.
- Welding – intermediate preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Equipment Maintenance Technologies preferred.
- Two (2) years or more supervisory experience required.
- Five (5) years or more supervisory experience preferred.
- Electrical – intermediate preferred.
- Hydraulics – intermediate preferred.
- Building trades – intermediate preferred.
- Welding – intermediate preferred.

Pay Type:
Salaried. Salary range: $65,000 to $70,000 per year, based on experience. Position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, commission, or long‑term incentive plan.
