Pool Attendant - Seasonal

Make a splash in your next role! We’re looking for a dependable and enthusiastic Pool Attendant to join our team. In this role, you’ll help keep our pool area sparkling clean, safe, and ready for fun while ensuring all safety equipment is in place. You’ll play a key part in creating a welcoming atmosphere for residents and be a vital part of a community that values teamwork, service, and excellence.

What you will do:

The qualified individual will work as an integral part of the operation team to perform the following essential job functions:

• Tests and balances pool chemicals and documents as required by state and local regulations.
• Monitors and adjusts pool temperature.
• Cleans and vacuums pool, cleans skimmer baskets, backwashes pool filters, and skims the pool with skimmer.
• Sweeps the pool deck and all surrounding areas daily.
• Straightens pool furniture, ensuring that furniture is clean and in working order at all times.
• Monitors residents entering and exiting the pool area.
• Ensures the state capacity is not exceeded.
• Ensures all posted pool rules are being adhered to.
• Cleans and maintains pool bathroom daily, including keeping them stocked with supplies and free of standing water.
• Cleans the clubhouse and surrounding common areas as needed.
• Ensures safety equipment is present and in working order.
• Checks first aid kit for needed supplies on a daily basis.
• Gardens and removes weeds in commons areas.
• Provides support for community groundskeeping and other general maintenance tasks.
• Position may require flexible hours, nights, and weekends as needed.
• Position requires working evenings and weekends, and other non‑business hours as customer traffic dictates.
• Position may require temporary or permanent reassignment of work location as directed by Senior Leadership.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you should have:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No prior experience or training.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation to work.
• Must maintain an active and working personal mobile phone.
• Computer skills required:
  Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Internet.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to endure seasonal temperatures.
• A growth mindset; always testing and learning.
• Willingness and ability to present self in a neat, clean, and professional manner at all times when present at the community.

• Continually required to sit, stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, kneel, or reach.
• Continually required to talk or hear.
• Continually work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals, such as pool chemicals.
• Continually exposure to outside weather conditions.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 20 pounds.
