Stathakis is seeking a dependable janitor/custodian for a part-time, on-site position in Romulus, MI. This role is ideal for someone who values cleanliness, consistency, teamwork and takes pride in maintaining a safe and welcoming facility environment. The position is a Monday through Friday schedule and pays $15.00 an hour from 6:00 pm-10:00 pm.

Position Summary:

The Janitor/Custodian is responsible for performing general janitorial and custodial duties to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe facility. This role supports the day-to-day appearance and cleanliness of the building, including common areas, restrooms, floors, and other assigned spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

* Performing general cleaning and janitorial services throughout the facility

* Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors

* Empty trash receptacles and replace liners

* Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and surfaces

* Clean and sanitize restrooms

* Restock paper products, soap, and other janitorial supplies

* Clean common areas and help maintain a professional appearance throughout the building

* Follow all company safety procedures and site-specific instructions

* Report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor

* Complete additional cleaning duties as assigned

Qualifications:

* Janitorial, or custodial cleaning experience preferred, but not required

* Strong attention to detail and dependability

* Ability to work independently

* Good time management and work habits

* Ability to perform physical job duties, including standing, walking, bending, and routine lifting

* Authorization to work in the United States

Compensation and Benefits:
