Janitorial Associate - Full-Time

West Side Beer Distributing is looking for a reliable and hardworking Janitorial Associate to join our Warehouse team in Romulus. In this hands-on role, you’ll help maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and facility while supporting basic grounds and facility upkeep.

Monday–Friday, 4:00 AM–12:30 PM
Pay:
Starting at $19.00 per hour, based on experience or qualifications

As a Janitorial Associate, you’ll help keep our warehouse and facility clean, organized, and safe for our associates and daily operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Clean and maintain warehouse areas, restrooms, break rooms, offices, and other assigned areas.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, and maintain floors and other surfaces.
• Empty trash and properly dispose of waste while keeping assigned areas neat and orderly.
• Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies and notify your supervisor when supplies need to be reordered.
• Safely operate floor scrubbers, vacuums, and other cleaning equipment after receiving appropriate training.
• Follow all safety procedures when working with cleaning chemicals, equipment, warehouse traffic, and other workplace hazards.
• Report spills, leaks, damaged equipment, maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and other facility issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Assist with outdoor upkeep, including removing trash and debris and assisting with snow and ice removal as needed.
